“No great work of art ever came from a bureaucracy. It came from a singular entity with a vision.”
I’ll be translating this into Japanese and reminding my colleagues of this for a while…
Fantastic, glad you find value in that quote. Love to see the translation when you are done.

Great show (again!) esp the segment on trusting your instincts on when to leave a situation. Often talk to my (younger) kids about this, referring it to listening to their spider sense. I think, as a woman, I’ve very much been conditioned growing up to be afraid of appearing rude and have definitely ended up in a couple of very uncomfortable situations because politeness overruled my deeper instincts.
One thing though – did I miss the iPods and Parents segment? Just noticed the summary in the show notes and skimmed through quickly as I hadn’t remembered that bit and couldn’t find it.
Pewari –
You comment about hurting feelings or being rude is a common comment – you have a right to your space, if somebody wants to call that being rude, that is on them. As for the iPod and Parents – ya caught us. I, through poor editing, deleted that part, we hope to redo it at a later time – Thanks for listening and good catch! K+
